100 Days of Summer

SO starts this summer...There are NOT 100 days in our summer, more like 80--I will have to count--BUT...

I want to do 100 fun things this summer. They will be simple, big, fun, educational and whatever else pops up...

Since I don't want to Blog alot, I will most likely just be posting pictures from this summer--Which I will have to do next time. (I forgot my camera at Sand dunes day!)

So far this is what we have done (granted some of them were done before the summer actually started, and some activities happened the same day, but I am counting each event separate--work with me people!)

1. Watch a bird nest from eggs hatching to flying birds.
2. Spent a day at Sand Dunes (this counts for the Sand fun)
3. Spent a day at Sand Dunes (this counts for the water fun)
4. Four-wheeling in mountains
5. 4X4 wheeling
6. S'mores
7. Fishing
6. Camping in a cabin
7. Hot Coco
8. Talent show (not pepper, but sedona)--she sang a duet with me
9. Picnic at the park
10. play at the park (actually separate day)
11. Read a chapter book aloud to your kids. (Will be doing this again!)
12. Caught bugs and studied them
13. Walk in the grass barefoot.
14. Play in manure pile---hey I had to add that even if was for a few minutes while I wasn't watching! They had a lot of fun.
15. Use lotion, soap, or shampoo that smells like coconuts.
16. Sleep in at least once. (or everyday!)
17. Stay up late having fun

And there is a list of great things I also want to do--I copied and pasted from a bunch of different websites. (yes some #'s are missing---we already did those)

1. Have a water balloon fight.
2. Go for a walk.
3. See the sunrise.
5. Watch the sunset.
6. Make play doh.
9. Go to an amusement park or local county/state fair and ride all the thrill rides!
11. Make homemade ice cream in a Ziploc bag.
12. Sit outside and sip pop.
13. Make fresh lemonade. .
15. Catch bugs.
17. Eat watermelon outside, and let the juice run all over the place!
20. Paint your toenails.
21. Get out the kids' watercolor paints and paint a picture of summer means to you.
23. Hang your bed sheets outside to dry and bask in their clean sunshine smell.
24. Eat strawberry shortcake.
25. Get someone else to take your picture with the kids, smiling and sun-kissed.
26. Write a letter to a friend and include at least three great things that have happened this summer.
27. Thank someone who has helped you out.
28. Eat your favorite summer fruits and berries.
29. Go swimming
30. Visit at least 5 different parks in your area
31. Teach Sedona to ride a bike
32. Play in the sprinklers
33. Plant something with your kids
36. Blow Bubbles
37. Sidewalk chalk
38. Farmers Market
39. Mud fun
41. Slumber Party
42. Sun catchers
43. Popsicles
44. BBQ
45. Smoothies
46. Tie Dye
47. Paint rocks
48. Sky Watching (clouds and stars)

I need 26 more ideas (they that doesn't equal 100!--I know--but I want a few in case some of those activities don't happen)
