A special day in America

So today is a special day to pay tribute to all those who have served....

I can't tell you how thankful I am that I don't have to go and fight, and there are people who are so brave and love their families, countries, and way of life so much they risk everything

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

But I saw a saying one that said

If you can read this--thank a teacher
if it is in English-thank a solider

I really think that Teacher Day should be a big deal---now most teachers don't risk their lives teaching kids (though some teachers do)--I just want to give a shout out to teachers!!

We had a good halloween. Only about 50 trick or treaters.

Micah and Lucas took the kids out while Pam and I stayed home, passed out candy and made dinner.

It was a fun halloween.

The pumpkin smashers were quick this year--

All our pumpkins were gone by 10:30--

and we were sitting in the parlor and didn't even hear them---
