Dr. Seuss Party

We took some fun pictures at the Dr. Seuss party that Pepper's school did that I helped plan!

Here are my few favorite.

This is one of my favorite pictures because I have so few pictures of Lucas and all the kids!

Desert Camping

We went out the first day we got there and then again the next weekend!
Lots of fun!

Wheeler Thought playing in the exhaust pipe was super fun.  He even put his mouth on it.
Lucky for us Aunt Amber found the toy he was hiding in there before we left!

D. and Sedona---Poor girls wanted to just hang out and the littler girls kept bugging them!  Love that the cousins get along so great!

camping in the desert has a whole different feel then the mountains!
Hard hard ground, trains all night, and heat!
But it was so much fun!

The kids rode motorcycles, four wheelers, and just ran crazy!

Wheeler liked to play with his tractors upside down-silly kid!

Pepper really like this death lizard she found--
Oh Pepper!

The whole time  we were  in Arizona, this kid rarely napped, and would not fall asleep unless he was "contained" either in a car seat or play pen!  At bed time I would just strap him in the car seat and read a book while he feel asleep and then I would carry him inside.

Hanging out & Easter at Mons and Ambers

We spent a lot of time at Uncle Mons and Aunt Amber's house too!!

Here are just a few pictures

Licking Gum wrappers and sticking them to our foreheads!
Playing cards as often as we could for as long as we could!!
I LOVE playing cards!

Pepper and S are having a great time-
S has her face painted--

I Had a lot of fun facepaint the kids from all over the neighborhood!
I love this picture of C--

D has great eyes for these colors!

This was one of my favorite faces I painted the whole time--I loved the color and
design--and of course S makes it look great!

My monster face!  It is so fun having a boy to paint!
C makes it look super cool!

EASTER

We also had Easter at Mons and Amber's house---We did a very small Easter this year,
but the kids still had fun.
The girls look asleep, but Wheeler had eaten more then his share of candy
by the time everyone woke up.

Grandma Zola's

One night we all got together at Zola's and all her grand kids were there--Pam and Micah had come for spring break---so we all got to hang out some more---we were kind of hit and miss with them though cause they would go to one house just after we left and then we would switch!  I am glad we were all together for a while (except Trace--you were missed).

Love how the kids are just piled in here and the look on Peppers face!

These goggles totally smooshed up C's face---so funny!

More Fun At Grandma's!
The girls also had fun with Grandmas fun jewelry and makeup!  Such princesses!  We are missing a few girls--11 grandkids and 8 of them are girls!

Who stepped on Uncle Steve?

There was two times I think we were almost all there---I think Pam and Micah were there once, but Lyman was gone and the next time Lyman was there and Pam and Micah were gone--
Anyway it was fun!

My kids could not stay away from Aunt Marinda and Uncle Steve!

Getting some Grandma Loves!

Uncle Mons and Aunt Amber---they were so great letting us crash at their house for so long--and not complaining when we had such a messy room!

I had never seen a painting of Lyman's until this trip---this picture doesn't give any justice to this painting. It is really good!

Hiking up Squaw Peak

We climbed Squaw peak with Aunt Marinda and Uncle Steve---

Starting the Climb!  Fun!

I thought it was going to be super easy and BOY was I wrong-It was straight up (Steps) most of the way--coming down was fun, but going up--not so great-- and man that trail is a busy one.

Sedona on the VERY top of the highest peak with Marinda and Steve to the left of here.

I may have posted this else where--but while hiking there was a Super Fit/great body lady with lots of tattoos, and very small clothes, and she would do a leg lift with every step she took--
She left an impression on all of us for different reasons....  :)
Pepper still talks about the lady that danced up the mountain.

Little did Marinda and Steven know we would be moving in the for the next week!  I think Steve might have had enough time now to recover from Larson overload!

My awesome men!
This is a great way to hike in my opinion!

Kids Update

It is amazing how weeks and months pass with out a 2nd thought on posting to my blog.

I have started two more blogs
and put this one the little larsons one cause it is
so cute!

Sedona has been home schooled so really her days are filled with some school work, playing with Wheeler, riding bikes, and hanging out--not very exciting so really I am lacking pictures of her!

Sedona has been doing art and this was her sculpture. She even added our little dog Pilot to the scene--this was her playing out in the snow.

I LOVE this photo of Wheeler with my picnic baskets looking longingly outside! He LOVES outside!

Wheeler feel off the couch and hit his nose and "broke" it.  I say "broke" because kids his age (almost 2) don't really have hard bone yet. But in any matter he smashed it hard and I freaked out and took him to the house down the street---wife nurse/husband EMT and she said I should take him to the hospital.  I called the hospital while driving and she told me to ice it and give him pain meds cause at that age they can't  really do more then that for them anyway

On the left-this is the best picture I could get of it---In real life it looked a lot worse!

He didn't even get black eyes!  The one of the right was taken a few weeks before-to show
the comparison.

PEPPER UPDATE

Pepper graduated from Sanford Pre-school
(she is also graduating from head Start, but we will be gone by then)
She played a butterfly in her school play (Goldilocks & the Three Bears)
She also sang the Days of the Week--she did a great job!

She got to go fishing with both Head Start and Preschool this year---dad was able to go both times
The Preschool fishing trip was cold and windy, but she came home with a fish!!

We bought an awesome baby carrier (now we have 3, but this one is the coolest by far!)
We wanted to see how much it could hold---
Pepper was laughing so hard!!

She looks so triumphant in this picture!
This is the two fish with one shot picture---the other fish is laying on the ground!
Way to go!
She caught 3 fish with Dad at the Head Start fishing trip!
